Understanding Alert Fatigue

This session will explore the causes of alert fatigue and its impact on individuals and organizations.
Alert fatigue is a phenomenon that occurs when a person receives so many alerts or notifications that they become desensitized to them and start to ignore them. In today's fast-paced IT world, this is becoming a growing problem. With an increasing number of alarms and notifications being sent to individuals and organizations, it's becoming increasingly difficult to separate the important from the insignificant.

This session will explore the causes of alert fatigue and its impact on individuals and organizations. We will discuss the psychology around alert fatigue, strategies for managing and reducing the number of alerts, as well as best practices for designing alerts that are effective in capturing attention and action.
