SQL Server and Solid State Storage - SQL/SSD
This session will look at the benefits and issues involved in migrating from hard disk drives to solid state storage, or SSD devices in a SQL Server environment. It will examine the migration issues, costs, how tos, pitfalls, what to upgrade and when, and the performance benefits of using SSDs in place of hard disk storage. It also looks at hybrid SSD/HDD devices which are starting to appear on the market.
