SQLBits 2014

T4 Templating within SSDT using SQL Server 2014

T4 templating will be a first class citizen in SSDT for SQL Server 2014. This session will show why you should use this technology for SQL code generation and how you can automate the process. The session will be demo rich.
Development has been moving to automatic build and continuous integration. It has been difficult for Database and Business Intelligence project to align with these processes.  SQL Server Data Tools and the Visual Studio Environment are now enabling database and BI projects to embrace automatic builds.  This session takes you through an example warehouse project and shows how you can automate the build and deploy process.  The session is demo rich and will shows by example how you can use T4 and SSDT (with SQL Server 2014) to build and deploy projects automatically.  This session is useful to both BI and Database developers.
