The SQLBits Mug Shot Competition

We were running a competition to find the best and most interesting mug shot, that is a picture of a SQLBits mug of course! You have the opportunity to win a free pass to 3 days of unsurpassed content at the SQL Bits Goes West conference, held at Celtic Manor in November 2009.

The Prize

  • Paid entry to a training day of your choice on the Thursday
  • Paid entry to the SQL 2008 & R2 day on the Friday
  • Accommodation on the Thursday and Friday nights

The Competition

At SQLBits Goes Forth in Manchester we gave out as part of the goody bag a mug. We want you to send us a photo of you and your mug in the most unusual of places. Examples might be

  • You and your mug on the peak of K2
  • You and your mug enjoying a Schnapps with Angela Merkel
  • You and your mug on the International Space Station

The competition closed Sep 2009.

Picture Format

 Pictures should be landscape with an aspect ratio of 4:3 which is standard for cameras today, and entries must be uploaded below. Any photos submitted along with your name may be used in SQLBits promotional material.

 

Terms & Conditions

This prize is only valid for SQLBits 5 "SQL Bits Goes West", 19th-21st November 2009 At Celtic Manor, Newport

There is no monetary equivalent of the prize. If you can't make the dates then don't enter

The competition is open to everyone except, committee members, their families and tennis partners.

Things not included in the prize, travel to and from the venue, Drinks/Meals - outside of those provided during the days themselves, extra Room charges such as minibar.

The winner is chosen by the SQLBits Organising Committee and the result is considered final

The name of the competition winner will be used on materials promoting the event.
