Disruptive Storage

Fusion-io's Mat Young will look at how radical change is often achieved through distillation and simplicity of design in conjunction with passionate people and great software.

The Fusion-io lunchtime session will look at how radical change is often achieved through distillation and simplicity of design in conjunction with passionate people and great software. SQL Server’s capabilities have grown considerably over time but some of the ways we think about supporting it with persistent storage have only changed incrementally.  It is therefore not just time to re-examine how we think about storage. We must think about what we are aiming to achieve with our designs and physical architectures as well. Often there is now a simpler way.

So, if you want to start thinking radically rather than incrementally about your persistent SQL Server storage architecture then I’d urge you to come to our lunch time session and find out more from the creators of disruptive storage technology.
