SQL Server Memory Management

There are so many different concepts and things that you have to know when you have to configure memory settings for SQL Server correctly. In this session you get an overview about the memory architecture of SQL Server 2008 and how SQL Server is using memory internally. You will also learn how you can track memory consumption inside SQL Server, and what are the most relevant memory configuration options that you can use to fine-tune and troubleshoot SQL Server. We will also have a more detailed look into the new memory architecture of SQL Server 2012.
