Speaker focus
Hue Holleran
Hue Holleran is a professional consultant specialising in database-centric solutions and specifically SQL Server since v4.2 and Oracle since v7 - and all versions since! After more than 20 years as a consultant to over 100 organisations and some of the largest global brands in various industries - he has established a reputation for leading teams leveraging modern tools and technologies in innovative and practical ways.
Being old enough to remember all too well developing database solutions in 'C' on a mainframe and DBase and FoxBase+ in the 1980's and Oracle and SQL Server in the 1990's - Hue is one of the first developers of that "modern" approach: client/server!
Having frequently presented on various topics since presenting for Microsoft at all UK venues for the launch of Visual Studio 6 in 1998, Hue's current focus is on leveraging the database's enterprise capabilities to implement truly robust and resilient systems that retain excellent performance even in the most challenging of environments.
