Payment Method

Payments are accepted by credit card or debit card only. If you select "Save - Registration Incomplete Pay Later" your registration is not confirmed, see "Confirmation of Place"

Confirmation of Place

Your place is not confirmed until we have received payment, and payment must be received before the event. In the case that we fill our available spaces, any unconfirmed places will be released.

Discounts

Discounts are applied before VAT. The Discounts and Early Bird / Full Price calculator are applied based on your Booking Date. If you modify your booking after submission then discounts may be recalculated.

Payment must be received before the end of any discount period, to be eligible for the discount. Bookings made before a discount date and paid afterwards may result in the new price incurred.

Substitutions & Cancellations

You may substitute a delegate at any time prior to the event starting, by amending the registration details online. Any special requirements, including changes in dietary requirements notified less than 2 weeks before the event will be accommodated at the venue's discretion.

If any circumstances or events beyond SQLBits Ltd's control causes the event to be cancelled, SQLBits will refund the portion of the fee paid that is reimbursed by its insurance or other 3rd parties. SQLBits is not liable for any other costs or liability incurred as a result of the cancellation.

You may cancel an event booking up to 4 weeks before the event start date with an administration fee of 5% of the event cost, between 4 and 2 weeks before the event start date the administration fee is 20%, between 2 and 1 week before the event start date the administration fee is 50% and the 7 days before the event we offer no refund.

Where possible refunds will be made to the original payment card or account. In some cases refunds will be made paid by cheque in pounds sterling. Refunds will be made after the event, using the billing details provided with the initial payment. No alternative details will be used.
