Charlie is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.  He has hone his style from a 20-year career in the Royal Air Force followed by 10 years in the private sector. Charlie's view on success in the work place is based on adopting a flexible can-do approach to always get the job done to the best of your ability. He has a track record in operations and personnel management and a history of success in delivering customer satisfaction.

Charlie joined the RAF in 1987, initially to fly, but after a year he transferred to the Air Traffic Control branch.  He worked at the London Air Traffic Control Centre as well as completing tours in the Middle East and Afghanistan.  In 2000 he was appointed Senior Air Traffic Control Officer at RAF Lyneham, managing a team of 47 staff delivering 24/7 Air Traffic Services.

In 2006 Charlie retired from the RAF and spent a career break year working as an Alpine Ski Instructor in Whistler, British Columbia.  In 2007 Charlie joined a Defence Consultancy in the private sector, eventually becoming a programme manager and assistant operations manager.  In 2014 Charlie joined Coeo as the Professional Development and Operations Manager.  He is responsible for the day to day operations of the Consultancy Services division as well as the personal development of his team.

In his spare time, Charlie enjoys alpine skiing (in the winter), playing guitar, cooking and golf.
